Family ministry plays a crucial role in the discipleship process. Our main objective is to assist families in strengthening their faith and relationships by organizing various activities such as counseling, education, and community events. We are deeply committed to promoting family unity, love, and understanding. The ultimate goal of family ministry is to help families come closer to each other and Jesus, while also equipping them with the necessary resources and support to efficiently tackle life's challenges.
Our family ministry philosophy is guided by a biblical worldview and informed by texts such as:
- “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain” Psalm 127:1
- “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you” Exodus 20:12.
- “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” Ephesians 6:4.
- "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her" Ephesians 5:2.
"In every family there should be a fixed time for morning and evening worship. How appropriate it is for parents to gather their children about them before the fast is broken, to thank the heavenly Father for His protection during the night, and…when evening comes, to gather once more before Him and thank Him for the blessings of the day past." E. G. White, Child Guidance, p. 520.
